Bard College

Bard College
College (colegio universitario) privado de artes liberales fundado en 1860 en Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y., EE.UU. Fue fundado por John Bard y los líderes de la Iglesia episcopal como St. Stevens, escuela episcopal para estudiantes de sexo masculino.

En 1934 cambió de nombre, y pasó a llamarse Bard College. Entre 1928 y 1944 fue la escuela de pregrado de la Universidad de Columbia. En 1944 se transformó en un college mixto. Sus programas de estudio de pregrado abarcan asignaturas de las ciencias sociales, los idiomas y la literatura, las artes y las ciencias naturales, y la matemática.
